This wedding was truly a fairytale.

This blog post is way overdue but I just had to share this wedding again from our 2022 season.

When Beth from Beth Jacob Events called me to see if I was still available for this date at Kurtz Orchards, I was ecstatic. Dream planner to work with, dream venue (this was a first for KDC!), dream couple, and dream design plan.

Taylor was also so lovely to work with. I had met her and Beth at Kurtz Orchards for a site tour, which ended up turning into a tasting in their tent. The food was impeccable, but the company was even better. What was a work thing turned into the most lovely afternoon and frankly, coming off of the pandemic, it was so nice to sit outside, enjoy a flavoursome meal, and just sit with the ladies!

Taylor and Evan’s ceremony took place at Gracewood Estate, amongst the pear trees. We did a tree installation, framing in the altar which was by far, my favourite piece.

Taylor’s bouquet was the most romantic and whimsical bridal bouquet, featuring Quicksand roses, a touch of light blue delphinium, and local clematis for a slight cascade. Taylor wanted something to accentuate the vine detail on her gown and the clematis was just the perfect delicate touch! Her grandmother’s pearls adorned the bouquet and added the sweetest sentimental detail for her to carry with her throughout the day.

The tented reception was beautifully put together. With linens and tabletop rentals from Simply Beautiful Decor, day of stationery by Blanch Heirloom, and a hanging installation featuring about 300 stems of smokebush hanging above the head table.

I will forever be obssessed with this wedding for so many reasons. Kurtz Orchards itself, was the bucket list venue I knew it would be and I cannot wait to flower up there once again!
