Wakefield Estate Wedding for Emily + Ty

Real Weddings

When a wedding photographer turns bride, you know it’s going to be noteworthy.

Where do I even start with this wedding?!

Emily, of Emily Jean Photography, has been a vendor friend for almost as many years as Kendon Design Co. has existed. Let me take you back just a touch, I swear it’s relevant!

Emily and I had always chatted on Instagram and what started with an inspiration image I had shared on my stories, turned into one of the most memorable styled shoots I will likley ever do. I owe it all to Emily who was also inspired and we started plotting via DMs.

What came about with this shoot was not just a gallery full of classic images and a feature in Today’s Bride, but a budding vendor friendship that I will forever cherish. Plus – Emily and Ty had just gotten engaged and she had told me I would be her wedding florist! I was floored and deeply honoured.

(Here’s some sneaky photos from the shoot we did together, featuring her model-sister, Sarah!)

Anyways! I was later thrilled to hear that Emily had hired Danielle Shaw of Shaw events as their planner and designer. Then, when I heard that Wakefield Estate was the venue – dead. What a dream.

The day was perfect. The weather. The vibe of everyone getting ready and the astonishing Landon Hall. Their pup! And even getting to watch their ceremony. Just flawless.

Scroll below to see how it all turned out!

Congrautlations to you both!
