What a way to start this busy (but beautiful!) wedding season!

After my 2021 wedding season ended early October, I didn’t touch a single flower for seven months – and gosh was it ever worth the wait. I was eager and ready to get designing for Melissa and Brian’s day in the new studio, filled with the prettiest Spring blooms and it was everything I thought it would be.

Melissa and Brian’s wedding was at the always classy and elegant Monthill Golf & Country Club. Melissa chose a stunning gown by Essence of Australia and Brian looked sharp and dapper in a classic back suit and tie.

The ceremony was situated on Monthill’s back outdoor terrace and I was so excited to finally be able to flower up their beautiful wood beam arbour. The winds were incredibly strong and I was truthfully SO worried while setting up their arch that the flowers were going to just blow away all of the golf course but thankfully, they stayed put and were captured beautifully.

The newlyweds took their portraits on Monthill’s beautifully manicured course. Cacie Caroll Photography captured them with classic black and whites and in more natural, candid moments. Obsessed.

The reception was held in their main ballroom and I’m always in awe of this space. The contrast of wood beams and crystal chandeliers is just breathtaking in its vastness. We moved the arbour florals to the fireplace and zhuzhed them up a bit to compliment the grandness of the structure.

Guest tables were adorned with our brass antique candlesticks and chimneys, smilax vine, and lush and romantic centrepieces that appeared as if they were growing from where they sit.
