Heather and Dillon waited three postponements, an elopement, and 422 days later – they finally had the day of their dreams.
Oh, this was a dreamy wedding! Heather had reached out to me merely a month before her (final!) wedding date and am I ever glad she did. Heather’s taste in florals had shifted during those 422 days that I mentioned above and I’m honoured to have brought that to life. When I had a Zoom call with her, she was just beaming talking about florals and the design plan that Jennifer from Tufts and Toile had conjured up. I hadn’t planned on taking any more weddings for the 2021 season, but absolutely had to squeeze this one in. Keep on reading and you’ll find out why!
Photographed by the ever so talented Alexandra Del Bello, every part of this day was a moment. Heather’s dress. The way Dillon looked at her. The vignettes that Jennifer created. The florals. The champagne wall! It was brought together so cohesively and truly reflected the couple.
They had their ceremony and reception at LaSalle Banquet Centre located in Burlington. The outdoor covered patio, adorned with string lights and beautiful window backdrops was the perfect setting. Their first look – at the classic and iconic Dundurn Castle. I’ll never get over Heather’s dress, designed by Pronovias from The Modern Bride.
I absolutely adored the florals and touches of blue in the designs. The florals popped against everything – the linens, the furniture rentals, the signage. It was all just so pretty!
Heather and Dillon – thank you for bringing me on at a moment’s notice and making us a part of your day. Your appreciation is just what every vendor dreams of, so thank you.
