Veronica and Mark originally had a gorgeous tented wedding on the groom’s parent’s property in Dundas planned for September, but the pandemic changed all of that.
With event restrictions in place, it was time to pivot. These two tied the knot on their originally planned wedding date in a small ceremony and Katie Benfey captured it perfectly.
I dropped off Veronica’s bridal bouquet to her at The Barracks Inn in Ancaster. It was my first time there and woah, what a beautiful space to get ready in. Her bouquet was everything I had hoped it would be. It was fairly neutral with Alabaster garden roses, Playa Blancas, and white majolica spray roses but then had beautiful dusty rose Café Latte roses tucked in and dancing Rosanne lisianthus that gave some added contrast. Autumn eucalyptus and clematis vine gave it some added movement and whimsy. She loved it. And she looked absolutely stunning. Like, stunning.
I didn’t get a chance to meet Mark but once I saw the photos – I was so impressed with his attire! The groom looked dapper in his three piece suit, complete with a classic tail coat. I had tied his boutonniere not knowing what he was wearing and I was quite pleased that I chose a grey velvet. Perfect.
I cannot wait for next September, when things get back to ‘normal’ and we can celebrate life’s big moment once again. Veronica and Mark’s postponed reception is certainly one to look forward to and I can’t wait to get designing again for them.
All the best to you Veronica and Mark and congratulations again!
