When Lindsay from LQ Events reached out in July for this micro-wedding happening within a month or so, I was beyond excited. The groom’s parent’s stunning home that backed on to Lake Ontario made the perfect venue for this small and intimate wedding. I cannot even begin to tell you how absolutely this property was. It was an absolute pleasure to be there.
It was the most perfect sunny day and as I was setting up our circular arch on the back lawn, I couldn’t help but gaze at the activity bustling on the lake. More than once, I considered dipping my feet in to cool off!
Lindsay provided me with a colour palette and let me run with it. I used Alabaster garden roses (which smell divine) and café latte roses which were a beautiful dusty rose. Have the ability to design freely is always exciting and I have to say, the aisle arrangements were probably one of my favourite designs thus far.
Another lovely thing about this wedding – seeing some familiar faces. Linda from Catchlight Photography who had done my very first branding session in 2019 captured the day beautifully. Brittany from Cravings By Brittany did their wedding cake and it was a pleasure to see her again since teaming up for Mother’s Day florals this year. Two of the amazing vendors out of many that made this day so special.
Congratulations Yolanda and David! All the best to you both!
