When I first took the leap from working with faux florals to fresh, Diana and Jarel’s was one of the first weddings I had landed. I was thrilled when she got in touch and told me her colour scheme – dusty pinks and mauve. I knew it was going to be special.
One thing I love when working with couples is the ability to create freely. With a gorgeous colour palette to use, the possibilities were endless and I could not wait to get designing for this wedding.
I added a bit of whimsy with some bunny tail grass and seeded eucalyptus. For the florals – Quicksand and white majolica spray roses where the perfect neutral backdrop for hellebores, lisianthus, and Amnesia and Cappuccino roses to bring in those dusty pinks and mauves.
To have Angie from Eyekah Foto capture their day was an absolute dream. The way she captured the florals and saw those details that I saw was pure magic. You’ll see a lot of her images featured on my website and for good reason. She appreciates the fine details and overall, captures love so beautifully.
Cheers to Diana and Jarel on their first wedding anniversary.
